Launching, leading and managing the first ever Brand Activation Agency in
Sri Lanka (1999-2011)

Ogilvy Action blazed many a trail in the Marcom Industry as a pioneer and leader. I am humbled to have founded and led this company from the front, for 12 eventful years.
In addition to the company winning many awards during my tenure, I was awarded the The Marketer of the Year title for the novel marketing concept that the company was positioned and promoted on.
I was also awarded the coverted 'Zonta Woman of Achievement' for the responsible Marcom work carried out by the company under my stewardship and my personal contribution towards many Social Marketing campaigns done in my career spanning nealry three decades in Communications

The juxtaposing of 'The Na Mala' with the 'Sun', symbolises the life and energy The World Bank attempts to bring to the people of Sri Lanka in the form of global knowledge and expertise towards the development of the country and its people.

Creating a simple, easy to read version of a very heavy strategic document was quite a daunting and laborious process. My team mate Susan Razzaz was the wind beneath my sail.
